A new, additional helipad was built on the roof of the main building of Berlin's emergency hospital. This helipad was supplemented by a hangar, which is accessible from the existing helipad through a connecting bridge. Facilities for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing the helicopters were planned and installed within the hangar. The hanger also features ready rooms for crews, as long with a control center and sanitary facilities. A fueling facility for the helicopters was installed on the connecting bridge.
GTB planned the pressurized fire-extinguishing water line for the automatic foam extinguishing system and the entire drainage system with light liquids separator.
